Soothe Baby’s Bottom with California Baby’s 1-2-3 Step System. Many diaper care products claim to be created for baby’s sensitive skin, but they may also contain harsh chemical ingredients that can irritate the diaper area they were intended to soothe. California Baby diaper care products do not contain fish, petroleum oils or synthetic fragrances (which may contain phthalates). Although each product is effective on its own, we recommend you use our Diaper Care System for total protection and efficacy. Here’s an effective routine: 1. A quick rinse or wash with California Baby Non-Burning & Soothing Diaper Area Wash cleanses #1 and #2 diaper changes—without irritating. 2. Soak up moisture with California Baby Calming Non-Talc Powder. 3. Finish by adding a healing layer of either California Baby Diaper Rash Cream with zinc for hot, or red fungal rashes or California Baby Calendula Cream for simple (mystery) rashes. This cream also works well for nourishing daily maintenance. We included California Baby Super Sensitive Shampoo & Bodywash in this set because we recommend when something’s off balance, go fragrance free until it clears up. California Baby Super Sensitive wash will not irritate sensitive mucus membranes.
Tip: Stop the use of diaper wipes until the baby’s rash has passed.
